Radio 1RPH website redesign

I was stoked when the station manager approached me in late January to see if I would be interested in helping them design a new website.
Radio 1RPH new website

Radio 1RPH is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that provides a radio reading service to people with print disabilities, as well as to the general listening public. A community radio broadcaster based in Canberra, Radio 1RPH informs and entertains listeners across the Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Junee regions by turning print into sound.

I was stoked when the station manager approached me in late January to see if I would be interested in helping them design a new website.

We got started straight away, using WordPress as our CMS (content management system). Focusing on the target audience’s needs, ensuring a clean, user-friendly design and considering the features needed, we decided to use the theme Make.

After mapping out our user journey and customising the theme, we started adding content and graphics, focusing on the key terms, ‘Turning Print into Sound’ and ‘Radio Reading Service’.

Anyway, long-story-short, we smashed it out and it went live on Tuesday, 13 March 2018. Using social media and email, we got the word out about the new site and we’ve received great feedback so far…

The new site looks great! It’s very clean and easy to use.

So easy to navigate around.

It’s fresh, clean and easy to navigate. Congratulations, this is really well done!
