The Early Morning Centre (EMC), located in the Canberra city, is a warm, safe and welcoming space providing essential services, support and community activities for vulnerable people in our community.
The problem
Guests and potential guests were not aware of the range of services provided by the EMC.
The audience
Anyone experiencing homelessness, at risk of experiencing homelessness and those experiencing social isolation.
The solution
We decided to go with a DL tri-fold brochure, using icons to display the services available. The brochures will be displayed at the EMC as well as like-minded organisations.
We focused on readability, the layout, colours and expressing the EMC’s values of respect, dignity, positive connections and the support and growth of individuals.
What’s next?
I’m looking forward to working with the EMC to develop their website.
